WVPB has highlighted two locally produced programs that relate to the month of May. On the main LearningMedia page you will see Anna Jarvis and the History of Mother’s Day and West Virginians in War.
Additionally, we have published a new collection of resources, “Appalachian Innovators” showcasing the efforts of individuals throughout Appalachia to provide new economic development across the region. Students can learn about carbon foam, lavender farming, rare earth elements, Generation WV, and trail towns. The resources fit into science, agriculture, economics, and social studies.
