The posters were originally due by Feb. 14, 2014, but since we have had so much going on with the weather and water, the decision was made to extend the due date to March 15, 2014.  If you wouldn’t mind forwarding this information on to other Social Studies teachers in the state I would appreciate it.  I have been trying to get the word out so that we can get as many entries as possible.  There are cash awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each of the following divisions:  Elementary, Middle and High School.

Teachers need to contact me at afields@mail.kana.k12.wv.us to enter, as well as submit the form available on the WV Geographic Alliance Website with the poster submissions.  Any questions should be directed to me.  Posters should  be forwarded directly to the WV Geographic Alliance.
